My client walked into the studio with a gold tooth and a bullet, both from his father, requesting to melt both down to make a cross. We discussed why that could not be done and he came back with scrap gold. From there I carved a wax, melted the scrap down, and cast a cross in gold.
The cross was delivered yesterday, which happened to be his mother’s birthday. What a joy to be a part of something so special.
